Meet the Gals

Jaime MintunJaime Mintun, Co-Founder

After more than a decade writing for bestselling authors and speakers in personal development, and managing multi-million dollar promotions for them, Jaime has intimate knowledge of the self-help industry and all its teachings.

Jaime has also been a lifelong student of science, psychology, mysticism, sacred teachings and ancient texts. She had once feared her multifaceted passions would hinder her ability to achieve true transformation. That is, until 2006 when she suffered three weeks of daily trauma and abuse that would take her 6 long and dedicated years to heal.

There is always beauty in the breakdown though: through her extraordinary healing journey, she discovered that only she could be her own savior. What greatness and power she sought was only ever within. And there is no one secret path to follow. We must each forge our own way.

In fact, it was through this somewhat teetering, often confused and always passionate exploration of life and Self that she experienced a potent and life altering spiritual awakening in November 2009. She makes no pretense that is has made her anything more than an increasingly awed and sincerely grateful seeker on a path she has yet to fully understand. Yet it has made spirituality, energy and the unknowable Source of life a tangible and constant companion in her life. And in her opinion, it’s a pretty good buddy-system to have.

In these ways, Jaime has turned her greatest pain into her most passionate service to you and any seeker in search of her truest Self. Her hope is that, through delivering you the many stepping stones she is using along her journey, you too will awaken and fully realize your Self.

Angela Hartman

Angela Hartman, Co-Founder

After a richly diverse career handling Public Relations and managing events from small self-help workshops to celebrity-studded awards shows, Angela has intimate knowledge and experience within many worlds: fashion, entertainment, self-help, philanthropic, political, music, the spiritual, and health and wellness. Yet of the hundreds of events and brands she’s assisted or managed, the single event that changed her life and altered her path forever was a fundraiser for the Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica, CA.

Witnessing children abandoned and set apart by violence, and women robbed of their safety and rights… it awoke something in her that called her to serve while strongly rooting her into her spiritual path. Both Jaime and Angela believe it is no accident that they share this fierce desire to protect and heal women suffering violence and trauma. They have made it their mission to direct the efforts, resources and success of O! Lila toward programs to end violence against women worldwide.

Always a bit of a rebel, and innately curious, Angela has explored many healing modalities including traditional psychotherapy, Theta healing, hypnotherapy, meditation, chanting, shamanic healing, and healing foods, herbs and technologies. Yet through it all, what she’s discovered is that any single tool isn’t nearly as important to your healing as your own resonance with that tool, and your participation in the process with all parts of your being. As she often says, “your answers will always lie within.”

Though few have befriended or even brushed shoulders with the Rock & Roll icons and Hollywood celebrities that Angela has, her disarming kindness and complete lack of entitlement or ego allow her to somehow magically engage these hard-to-reach people toward service and causes they support AND come to genuinely care about. This is probably because her core philosophy (since she’ll often change her mind about everything else!) is that anything is possible. But you have to take it to the next level. You have to connect. And the key: to first connect with yourself and then reach out to touch one another. To always be of service. And to hopefully learn to travel the path of least resistance and fullest heart.
